Conditions for relax and sleep have improved in crew rest compartments (CRC) available for latest widebody aircraft, such as draft free ventilation of air, temperature control, low vibrations and noise.
A dedicated humidifier in the flight crew rest facility is a requirement to obtain an environment conducive to recuperative sleep.
The crew rest comparment humidifier is standard equipment in a crew rest on the Boeing 787 and stand alone option (SFE) on Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X.

Crew rest compartments in aircraft without humidification have an extremely dehydrating environment that significantly impact sleep quality and increases risk to contract an infectious deceases.
With air humidity at comfort and wellness level, pilots and crew can get more efficient rest, feeling more balanced and restored. It also reduces risk of fatigue and shortens recovery duration after a long-haul flight. Furthermore, the immune system benefits from a humidity level restored to our operational and functional range; due to better rest and lowered impact from dehydration on mucous membranes.

Our technology debuted on the A380. The first aircraft that entered into service in 2007 with Singapore Airlines had a humidifier in each of the two crew rest compartments.
All crew rest compartments on the Boeing 787 are fitted with a humidifier to enable best possible climate conditions for efficient relax and sleep.
The crew rest humidifier is a common selection onboard Airbus A350 and is gaining traction on the Boeing 777X.
The broad customer base with multi-years of good experience has created a commonality selection demand. We have several cross-fleet airline customers.
DRY FACTS
A crew rest compartment has extremely dry air. This dampens outlook to benefit from efficient rest and sleep. In fact it is counterproductive to its intent to empower best possible conditions and environment. A crew rest without a humidifier causes:

and skin - Contributing to general fatigue and causes discomfort
