Nyköping Aug 20, 2012, – Gore Design Completions based in San Antonio, Texas, USA has ordered CTT Cair™ System to be installed, in an Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Gore Design Completions is a major completion centre offering top quality cabin outfitting and associated services.

“CTT are very pleased to receive this new order from Gore Design Completions being the second from the company. We are delighted to continue working with Gore Design Completions in this prestigious project, says Peter Landquist, Vice President Sales, Marketing & Customer Support of CTT Systems.

“Gore Design Completions is very pleased to be working again with CTT. We had a very strong collaboration on a previous project which was a driving factor for choosing them again. We look forward to working together on this new exciting project”, says Joe Barrett at Gore Design Completions.

Cair™ is focused on the passengers’ health and comfort by providing humidification of the extremely dry aircraft cabins without causing condensation. Cair™ gives a pleasant relative humidity of around 20%, compared to 3-5% without, for the passengers, thereby reducing dry air related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases).

The Cair™ system is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method that effectively precludes the transfer of bacteria within the aircraft. The dual-purpose system increases humidity for greater comfort and incorporates the Zonal Drying™ System to counter condensation problems.

CTT’s Zonal Drying™ System has been selected as basic equipment for the new B787 “Dreamliner” and CTT’s humidifiers are options in crew rest compartments and on flight deck. The A380 offers CTT’s humidifiers as option in crew rest compartments. CTT will also supply the Zonal Drying™ system and the Cair™ system for the A350 aircraft, as options.
