After a few hours of flight the relative humidity in first/business class is around 5 % RH, while the economy area notes 10 % RH - as compared to the recommended 20 %. The paradox is that passengers who pay more get less in terms of cabin humidity.

By introducing active cabin humidification the passengers who pay more are also those who benefit more.
